FIRST DISTRICT CONFERENCE 2013 , PULAU BATAM
Friday & Saturday : May 10 – 11, 2013 at. Planet Holiday , Jodoh – Batam
The First District Conference of Rotary International District 3410, will be held in BATAM, an interesting island very close to Singapore.
The highlights of the event are :
- Friday, 10/05/2013, Re-Registration will start at 09:00.
Opening Ceremony at 15:00, followed with the workshop and group discussion.
House of Friendship, with bazaar & exhibition, are ready early in the morning, for Rotarian to meet each other and start exchanging project opportunities and fellowship. As the venue is very close to Singapore and Malaysia, we expect many Rotarians from Malaysia and Singapore will be there as our guest. - GURINDAM NITE (Welcome Dinner) is at 18:30, busses are ready at the hotel lobby to transport all participants to the Gurindam Venue. You have to be there to really enjoy a special Indonesian culture, influence by the Melayu tradition. If you are good with poetry, please bring your “pantun” with you.
- Saturday, 11/05/2013 2nd day, will start at 09:00 with more plenary and breakout sessions. We expect many great result from our District First Year Performance.
- The Governor Banquet Dinner will start at 18:30. Entertainment and Awards presentation are the highlight of the evening. End with Change of the Board Ceremony and last but not least as usual, unforgettable happy Disco Time.
